A talk about Mondays

I hate Mondays. Just like (almost) everyone else in this world does. But I also recently started thinking about how many days I waste having this "hate relationship" with Mondays. Sometimes I can even feel anxiety on Sundays, thinking about it's Monday tomorrow. Obviously there's many Mondays in a year, so it's a lot of negative energy and at the end of the day, Mondays aren't really that bad.

My goal for this month is to get to love Mondays. I'm not sure if it's something that's possible for me, but it's worth a try, haha. I once read about a girl who said that you should see Mondays as a new beginning. A new week with exciting projects.. And if everything goes wrong, I can always think about all the other Mondays I survived.

How do you feel about Mondays? Let me know in the comments!

  1. When I was still in high school and had a "strict" schedule for everyday, I hated mondays too. But having studied by distance and being self-employed now, I love Mondays. They're a great way to start over and get excited for the week! My best tips is to take something from the weekend and do it on Monday, perhaps begin the day with a big breakfast, or watch a movie when you've finished studying/working! Xx

  2. Loving the positive vibes your trying to put out there where Mondays. It's definitely normally the most hated day of the week for me too. But sometimes I work until Saturday so Monday's are my occasional day off! I think you're so right about changing your perspective because you don't want to start every week off negative. Hope you're having an amazing week so far!

  7. I've trained myself to think of Monday as another day closer to the next weekend. it makes it so much more bearable! you know how when you have a few days break you can't help but counting down how many days you have left until you have to go back to school / work again and that's a bum? this is exactly the other way around. you only have a few days of work and you can count the days to the next weekend, with a plus point of feeling productive when you have completed one day at a time. hope this helps! :)

  8. I love mondays actually, because I managed to set activities that I really enjoy doing so I ended up loving waking up early on this day haha, once monday goes by, the rest of the week is just as manageable. :)
